Like most non-profit organizations, the pandemic knocked us down.
Poof. Overnight, the majority of staff was gone and the office was shuttered. The few who remained, got pretty good at working from home.
Since then, we launched PublicDisplay.ART, a free quarterly arts publication to help reengage public interest in the arts, created ArtSavesMe.org to share art created out of adversity and produced COVID House of Horrors - one of a handful of arts events to safely open to the public in 2020.
We also moved into our new office (just down the street from our old one) and realized we were more productive working from home. Sure, we take meetings there from time-to-time, but if you swing by, you’ll like find no one home.
That’s not to say we aren’t eager to connect with the community — we are! It just requires some advance notice.
