CAREER DAYS are a series of arts-focused, educational events produced by One Reel on behalf of the City of Seattle and presented by the Office of Film + Music (City Of Music Career Day & the upcoming Film Career Day) and the Office of Arts & Culture (Visual Arts Career Day & Literature Career Day). Each Career Day event focuses on a single career objective and allows young adults (16-24) the chance to connect with local professionals working in the field to share their experiences – such as advice on how to be taken seriously or the decisions one might face when starting out. productive stepping stone toward pursuing a career in this field. PLUS Career Days present a wide range of opportunities just waiting to be explored within the specific industry. Attendees are also introduced to local businesses that offer intern and employment opportunities right here in the Northwest. Career Days invite young people to discover and explore careers within Seattle's diverse creative sectors, including Literary Arts, Visual Arts, Film, and Music. Each one-day event is free-to-attend and provides young people ages (16 - 24 only) direct access to industry professionals, networking, experiential learning, and engaging conversations.
