Bumbershoot Admissions Application
Positions Available:
Ticket Seller
Responsible for the accurate, quick, and friendly sales of festival tickets via cash and credit card transactions
Provide information to public
Requirements:
- Must provide friendly customer service
- Must be able to count back change accurately and efficiently
- Must be able to attend group interview
Ticket Scanners
Responsible for scanning tickets at point of entry for gates
Responsible for checking out/returning ticket scanners to Gate Manager
Assists Gate Manager with other duties as assigned:
- Crowd control/direction, gate production, security, and public information
- Perform exit procedures at point of exit for gates as needed
Requirements:
- Must provide friendly customer service
Pass Gate/Will Call Staff
Controls access through Pass Gates via tickets or laminate system
- Distributes Will Call to festival customers via order database will call list
- Provide excellent customer service
- Requirements:

Gate Manager
Leads and coordinates all aspects of assigned admissions gate:
Crowd Control
- Management of lines: ticket holders, ticket buyers, and participant entry
- Delegates line and crowd control duties to staff/volunteers
Gate Productions
- Review setup checklist, report and advise of any missing items
- Refers to Admissions/Area managers for any major needed changes
- Assists in daily set-up and closing of gate
- Requests batteries changes for ticket scanners via runner
Staff Training
- Reviews procedures and retrains staff and volunteers as necessary
- Coaches staff in providing excellent customer service
Staff Management
- Checks in/out staff and volunteers at beginning/end of shifts
- Assigns duties and breaks to staff
- Fills in for staff as needed

- Must be available to work from 9 am to 11 pm all days of the festival
