Food Server - Teatro ZinZanni Seattle

Servers are responsible for all guest related services in the tent. They take care of all food ordering and delivery issues, assist with ordering and delivery of beverages, finalize all monetary transactions for each party of guests and answer all questions about all products, the restaurant and the production as a whole. Regulations provided by the WSLCB are to be adhered to at all times, as well as all service standards set by Teatro ZinZanni. Teatro ZinZanni is a fine dining restaurant and theatrical performance environment; experience and comfort with and enthusiasm for this work environment is essential. No calls please.
Responsibilities
- Models integration of Teatro ZinZanni's Vision and Values in performance of daily duties and operations.
Can maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, including stressful times.
Has basic knowledge of restaurant POS systems.
Has excellent knowledge of all liquors and cocktail recipes.
Competent and cautious alcohol server. Knows signs of intoxication and response methods. Knows proper ID checking procedures.
Is able to upsell liquor, wine and bottled water.
Utilizes table and position numbers at all times.
Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to: seating guests, detailing tables, assisting with cocktail service, greeting guests and confirming menu options, serving and clearing all food courses in a fine dining service style and assist with any guest needs that arise.
Will support the bar staff, cocktail servers and bussers as needed.
Is willing to help with show needs when asked upon.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
Qualifications
Essential minimum skills, education, and experience:
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to see, hear and verbally communicate with the public in English.
Ability to self-locomote without assistance.
Must have certified food handlers permit.
Can take direction and is quick to think and respond.
Has worked in a fine dining restaurant/bar and can work in a small establishment team environment.
Past experience as a performer is preferred.
Well groomed and professional appearance.
Good physical condition
